The More You Know…

Did you know…
- That Carrie has her own independent blog? (Well, I didn’t, until today when she showed me, because nobody tells me nothin’.)
- And that *I* have my own independent blog? Well, I didn’t really have anything more than a test bed until today, when I realized I could bring all my long-winded gibberish posts over there, and post without feeling guilty about burying Carrie’s occasional post (apparently, she’s much more active on her blog than this one anyway).
- Somebody’s going to say that we are Now Divorced, but only in a bloggeral sense, because WE ARE NOT MARRIED AND NEVER WERE, thank you.
- I would quite like a cup of tea, and about a week in the middle of nowhere with nothing but some paper and some pens. Er, and a fountain of tea.
…
Anyway, I know Lori’s updated the Commune blogroll to reflect the blog changey thingie. So now you know. I can’t maintain a personal blog, and CarrPeeDiem, so I might just switch over there. Although it’s a hellluva lot harder to abbreviate “Tzinski” than it is to casually say “CPD” in conversation.
Now you have all my wordly links.

You all do realize this sucks, right?
CPD is like my home base blog where I start each day’s blog reading activities. Now there’s going to be more places to go and more things to do. New stuff to learn, and I’m going to have to remember how to spell Pete’s last name all the time now.
*Stomps off in huff to get a cup of coffee.*

LOL! I’ll get over it, don’t worry.

I never really understood why you had a joint blog in the first place.

*snicker* Ferret said joint…
Um… we had a joint blog because… um… Huh. I’ll have to get back to you on that one.

Well, you two were together bouncing funny stuff off each other, until Carrie had to get a job. Then she like fell off the planet and stuff.

I’d like to add, that I am purchasing some stuff from B&N online right now, and they have so much cool stuff on sale, that I need advice. Help here, people!

I just ordered Relic and Thunderhead by Douglas Preston/Lincoln Child from B&N. Also Sphinx by Robin Cook and Amazonia by James Rollins. I *love* gift cards. I also like their authorized seller program (although Amazon’s is a bit better) becuase you can get books cheaper. And cheaper is good.

I put a couple of audio books in my shopping cart, but I need at least another ten dollars to qualify for free shipping, which is so important. I mean, you can’t ever buy enough books anyway, so why not have them shipped free?
The part that is killing me is that they have tons of classics on sale for really cheap right now, and there are, um, some I’ve not read that I probably should have and that would be good for my daughter in a few years, so I’m stumped. Then there are some reference books I’d like and some good, fun reading books I’d like.
I have $90 in B&N gift cards from the holidays, and I do want to save some for a physical trip to the store, but I hate missing really good deals.

We had a joint blog, because I wanted a blog, and I didn’t think I could maintain one on my own, and Carrie and I were busy bouncing funny stuff around, and doing Variety Hours and it seemed like a good idea at the time.
Of course, we ALSO thought that writing one of the Variety Hours in 24 hours was a good idea too, so that shows you what we think.

Well I only have the ONE blog, thank you very much. Well, and Castle Debacle, I’m a third of that. But a third’s easy.

**WE** did not think writing a Variety Hour in 24 hours was a good idea. WE tried to talk US out of said madness, but WE insisted. At least, that’s how I remember it.

I must have been asleep during all that bouncing off of funny stuff and variety hour stuff.

By the time you got here, I was already eccentrically writing long articles about all manner of serious stuff, to the boredom and chagrin of everyone, including the woman who started the blog with me. You must have missed all the funny bits.
